STANA seeks a highly organized, results-oriented, compassionate person to serve as a Patient Liaison to cultivate and facilitate a cohort of patients whose lived experiences will help STANA build capacity to grow awareness for increased patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR). This part-time role of approximately two hours per week for up to 24 months will be instrumental in assisting STANA in achieving milestones, and deliverables of a project intended to build sustainable capacity for PCOR and comparative effectiveness research within the chemosensory community.
Reporting to STANA’s Project Lead, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Candidates for this role should have strong communication, attention to detail, and superior organizational skills and have coaching and mentoring experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zoom are required. This part-time position, approximately 2 hours a week at $25 per hour for up to 24 months, is funded through a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award (EASO-29387) and relies on the successful completion of contracted milestones and deliverables.

The selected candidate will be expected to work primarily virtually and may be asked to attend 1 to 2 in-person meetings. Weekly attendance at team meetings held outside of normal business hours may be required or necessary to accommodate time zone differences of other team members or Patient Cohort member schedules.
