STANA seeks a healthcare writer to assist us in realizing our vision of a world where the senses of taste and smell are valued as essential to health, safety, and wellness. STANA seeks a content creator with a passion for translating complex scientific and medical information into clear, accessible language for patients.
You have experience with communicating and sharing patient-lived experiences with various audiences. You also have a talent for creating content that elevates the patient’s voice. Using your science or medical writing expertise and marketing skills, you will help create engaging content that allows STANA to grow its reach and credibility, is consistent with our brand, and provides compelling fact-based educational information.
This contracted position will be instrumental in helping STANA write materials for a 2024/2025 funded project to build sustainable capacity in the chemosensory community for patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR) and comparative effectiveness research (CER) and produce content for its newsletter and social media channels.

This hourly role is principally funded by a two-year contract awarded to STANA by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award (EASO-29387 that relies on the successful completion of contracted milestones and deliverables. In addition, during the same period, STANA will engage the writer for additional hours to create marketing communications content for our community. The hourly rate is $50 - $60 per hour for this remote position.
